Framework and Objectives
FRAMEWORK AND OBJECTIVES
The growing importance of social economy organizations has boosted and demanded the adoption of new management tools and methodologies, in a drive to improve responses and services.
A dynamic promoted by a higher level of demand from families in particular and society in general. This positive, dynamic and growing evolution makes it possible to provide organizations with distinctive technical and human skills that facilitate excellent services and responses, with the fundamental purpose of ensuring that the needs and expectations of families and the community are met.
With this Master’s degree, professionals and social organizations strengthen their individual skills and improve collectively:
- Provide trainees with the skills to implement and manage a quality management system;
- To know and implement the different normative references available for the social sector;
- Gain competence in promoting positive and transformative organizational change;
- Acquire the skills required for certification as an internal auditor;

FUNCTIONING
Classes will be held online via the ZOOM platform, which will allow trainers and trainees to share and ask questions without leaving home, avoiding travel and logistical hassles, and to attend and participate in classes from anywhere. The timetable presented demonstrates a concern for reconciling family and work, through a more extensive calendar in terms of time, with weekly sessions, alternating fortnightly between Fridays from 6.30pm to 10.30pm and Saturdays from 9am to 1pm, softening the workload with different trainers, allowing the student to research, read the documents shared in a timely manner between sessions.

Ricardo Pocinho
Degree in Law, Doctorate in Training Processes from the University of Salamanca, and in Psychogerontology from the University of Valencia, Post-Doctorate in Education Sciences, Specialty of Permanent Education and Adult Training from the University of Coimbra. Adjunct Professor at the School of Education and Social Sciences of the Polytechnic of Leiria, Integrated Researcher at the Interdisciplinary Center for Social Sciences (CICS.NOVA) IPLEIRIA, and collaborating researcher at various research centers in various countries. President and Scientific Coordinator of the National Association of Social Gerontology.
Sílvia Machado
She has a background in Sociology, specializing in Quality Management, Human Resources, Management of Social Organizations, was a lecturer in the Degree in Social Work at the IPV, is a lecturer in several Post-Graduate courses at different Universities, was Director of Human Resources in an organization with around 200 employees, supervisor in Shelters, consultant and auditor in management systems.

Degree in Education – Training and Human Resources Management from the University of Minho. Postgraduate in Sociology of Organizations and Work, University of Minho. Postgraduate in Management from the University of Minho. General Manager of ATC. APCER Quality Auditor since 2008. Quality consultant in various social organizations and in the Equal, Q3, FAS, SIQ projects. Teaching experience: Universidade de Psicologia do Porto, CIOR, Escola Superior e Tecnologia de Lamego, ISLA Santarém, Escola de Negócios das Beiras, REAPN. Trainer in QMS areas such as: Quality, Audits, Human Resources Management. Auditor, Consultant and Quality Manager.
Filipa Magalhães
Graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. Postgraduate in Legal and Political Sciences and Master in Law (pre-Bologna) from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, in Legal and Political Sciences. PhD student in Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. She has been a trainer and speaker at seminars promoted by the Order of Certified Accountants – with which she has collaborated in the preparation of manuals on Labor Law and the Data Protection Legal Regime; Vida Económica: F3m; UNAVE, CEFA, among other entities.
César Gonçalves
Graduated in Business Sciences in 2013 from the Polytechnic Institute of Porto at the School of Management (ESTG); has worked in the area of coordination and quality management control in the social area for over 5 years. Responsible for purchasing, procurement, management and maintenance of infrastructures and equipment. IEFP-accredited trainer in IT, predominantly Windows and Office.
Evaluation and Certificate
CERTIFICATE
The trainee will receive a diploma issued by ANGES and a certificate with the number of hours of training, entered into the SIGO platform, through Associação Teatro e Construção, an entity certified by DGERT.
We would also like to inform you that by attending this Master’s course, trainees will be able to gain access to the Internal Quality Auditor Certificate, if they so wish, provided that they can demonstrate specific professional and auditing experience and that they meet the following requirements:
- Attend a 4-hour preparation course for the Internal Quality Auditor exam, run by APCER, and attendance is compulsory;
- Take a 2h30 Internal Quality Auditor exam;
- Submit an application and payment of 50 euros, plus VAT at the rate in force, to APCER.
