– The role of the technical director in managing his team:
a) Recognize the importance of people in social organizations that support the elderly;
b) Communication within teams of caregivers;
c) Effective communication, assertiveness and empathy;
d) Stress in teams of elderly caregivers and its management;
e) The role of leadership in organization and teamwork;
f) The responsibility of leadership;
g) Fundamental techniques for motivating individuals and teams;
h) Assertiveness strategies and techniques;
i) Knowing how to deal with difficult behavior and situations;
j) Effective management of the technical director’s working time.
Trainer
Vânia Ferrão
Social Worker with a degree and master’s from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra. She has a post-graduate degree in Motivation and Management of Teams of Caregivers of the Elderly and an MBA in Technical Management / Services of Social Organizations. Trainer and E-Trainer in Social Work and Guidance and Victim Support Technique.

The trainee will receive a certificate with the number of hours of training, inserted into the SIGO platform, through the Associação Teatro e Construção, an entity certified by DGERT.
