We distinguish people with social merit.

The Social Merit Medal, Gold Grade, is the highest individual distinction of ANGES – National Association of Social Gerontology. It was created in 2020 to honor the work and life of Professor José Eduardo Pinto da Costa. Over the last few years, it has been awarded at the proposal of the ANGES Advisory Board to people who, through their professional activity and the way they lead their lives, transform society, revealing the best that human beings have to offer. We are grateful to them and designate them as people of Social Merit.
