This course offers a practical and up-to-date approach to the changes in decentralization and the transfer of competences in the area of Social Action in Portugal. Aimed at professionals and technicians in the sector, it promotes reflection on the role of the social worker in multidisciplinary teams and provides tools for collaborative work. The training includes topics such as the legislative framework, the functioning of the Social Assistance and Monitoring Service, and fundamental techniques such as the interview, the home visit and the contractualization of responses.
