DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVE

The ASAS Project – ANGES Solidarity Senior Academy – consists of a Virtual Senior Academy. The ASAS project is guided by the principles of intergenerational cohesion, social inclusion, solidarity and subsidiarity, with the aim of keeping the elderly active, combating loneliness and delaying or avoiding their institutionalization through access to virtual tools that allow the elderly to be stimulated from home and, consequently, contribute to a better quality of life.

DESTINATIONS

This project is aimed at all elderly people seeking to mitigate some of the vulnerabilities resulting from the ageing process by carrying out activities that stimulate physical/motor and socio-emotional functions and, consequently, aim to improve their well-being in the various dimensions that make it up.

ACTIVITIES

The project is based on a set of online and synchronous activities, provided by professionals from different areas, on a specific platform adapted to the target population and purposes that allow social roles to be maintained.
